Our RED workflow is designed to work seamlessly with the AVID range of editing systems, while maintaining absolute compatibility with the rest of our Digital Intermediate workflow.
We use in-house software to create AVID compatible DNxHD36 MXF files that can be copied into a AVID media disk and read directly, without any conversion. Using the RED and AVID software development kits (we are authorized developers on both platforms) we are able to maintain the best image quality and resolution throughout the system.
