The Berlinale 2011 selection committee has announced their first pick of Generation films - Rune Schjøtt's feature film debut "Skyscraper".

Rune Schjøtt's feature film debut "Skyscraper", a coming-of-age story with a touch of black comedy, tells the story of Jon who is trapped by fate in a small town, until his feelings for a young blind girl points to new, promising horizons. Schjøtt was cowriter on Dagur Kári's "Dark Horse", selected for Cannes' Un Certain Regard.
